Explorative Psychotherapy

Identifying and naming issues which may have been out of awareness often provides an immediate benefit by reducing shame about lifelong areas of internal conflict and difficulties in relationships.

For most people though true growth and healing comes from a slower, more thorough exploration of the issues that have been discovered.

My approach to medium/long term therapy is informed by Psychodynamic Psychotherapy as well as Integrative Gestalt Therapy.

Healing of childhood trauma and longstanding personality problems will usually require weekly sessions as part of a more in-depth therapeutic process.
